Mr. Joe Sir opened SIR’S in Fayetteville, Tennessee, in 1948. It began as a dry goods store that primarily served the local community. Throughout the years, Mr. Sir realized that the needs of his customers were changing, and he eventually expanded his business to feature fabrics and notions.

Joe Sir was a legendary businessman and visionary community leader. He successfully developed special purchasing relationships with national mills and manufacturers. Fabric bargains soon arrived in Fayetteville by the truckloads! SIR’S FABRICS grew to serve the entire Mid-South region of the United States. It is still owned and operated by members of the SIR family who continue the tradition of offering high quality fabric at discounted prices.

SIR’S FABRICS has maintained a reputation for offering great values with integrity. Tens of thousands of satisfied customers have been served in its 58 year history.
